September shows!

This fall is going to be good. I’m doing:

Gravity Was Everywhere… live show at EMPAC in Troy, NY on Sept. 10th: http://empac.rpi.edu/events/2010/fall/green/

Gravity Was Everywhere… live show at Cornell Cinemas in Ithaca, NY on Sept. 24th: http://cinema.cornell.edu/EarlyFall10/gravity_was_everywhere_b.html

The band for both of those is Brendan Canty (Fugazi), Howe Gelb (Giant Sand), Drew Henkels (Drew and the Medicinal Pen), John Swartz (unbelievable cellist- he plays in Guy Maddin’s orchestra when Guy does his live thing), Donna K (Mary in Gravity) and I. They’ll be awesome shows.

And, we brought the whole Gravity set to the ASU Art Museum in Tempe, AZ! That show runs from Sept. 4th-Dec. 31st. It’s the best museum show I’ve ever done- if you’re anywhere near Phoenix, please check it out: http://asuartmuseum.asu.edu/exhibitions/viewevent.php?eid=490

There are a few theatrical screenings, this month, too- I’ll be at all of them for a Q&A:

Sunday, Sept.19th- Iowa City- Bijou Theater, 8PM
Tuesday, Sept.21st- Cleveland, OH- Cleveland Cinematheque, 7PM
Saturday, Sept.25th- Gambier, OH- The Horn Gallery at Kenyon College
